My Lifelong Friend: One who knows my Soul

Who do you spend the most time with?

BY:SODAKARTIST

The time I spend with others is extremely valuable. But the person who I spend the most time with is the most valuable to me. Others seem to be terrified of this entity the most. But to me, this entity is my best friend. I used to hate and despise him the most. He inflicted the most amount of pain on me throughout my life. Yet, he taught me how to love and not to be afraid of anything. He taught me that the past creates depression and the future creates anxiety. So let’s just do the simplest of all: let’s be in the present. He taught me that our thoughts create our words, our words create our actions, and our actions choose our reality. Therefore, our thoughts create the realities we live.

In the early stages of my journey, I found it difficult to accept this presence. It felt like a constant battle, a relentless tug-of-war between my desires and the lessons he was trying to impart. The pain was immense, and the resistance within me was strong. I blamed him for my suffering, for the darkness that seemed to overshadow my life. However, with time, I began to see the value in his teachings. Slowly, I realized that the pain was not inflicted to harm me but to guide me towards a greater understanding of myself and the world around me.

As our relationship evolved, I started to notice subtle changes within myself. I became more aware of my thoughts and how they shaped my reality. This awareness was transformative. I learned to silence the noise of the external world and listen to the whispers of my inner self. My highest-self showed me that the key to peace and happiness lies within, not in the materialistic pursuits or the validation of others. It was a profound realization that shifted my entire perspective on life.

The concept of living in the present became a cornerstone of my existence. By embracing the present moment, I found a sense of freedom that I had never experienced before. It was liberating to let go of the regrets of the past and the anxieties of the future. My highest-self guided me to focus on the now, to cherish each moment, and to live life with a sense of gratitude and mindfulness. This practice not only brought me peace but also enhanced my overall well-being.

Through this journey, I also discovered the power of love and compassion. My highest-self taught me that true love begins with self-love. By accepting and loving myself unconditionally, I could extend that same love to others. This shift in perception changed my relationships and interactions with people. I became more empathetic, understanding, and patient. The love I cultivated within myself radiated outward, creating a positive impact on those around me.

The transformation was not instant, and it required constant effort and dedication. There were moments of doubt and setbacks, but my highest-self was always there to guide me back on track. He reminded me that the path to enlightenment is not a straight line but a journey filled with ups and downs. Each challenge and obstacle was an opportunity for growth and learning. Embracing this mindset allowed me to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and grace.

In conclusion, the relationship I have with my highest-self is the most valuable and profound connection in my life. It has been a journey of self-discovery, healing, and transformation. Through his guidance, I have learned to live in the present, cultivate self-love, and embrace the power of my thoughts in shaping my reality. While others may fear this entity, I have come to see him as my greatest ally, my truest friend, and the source of my inner strength and wisdom. This journey has taught me that the key to a fulfilling life lies within, and by nurturing this relationship, I can continue to grow and evolve into the best version of myself.
